To operate as a national organization, the Fellowship’s constitution requires several business units. Our organization’s structure is as follows:
- The National Conclave
- The Executive Board of Directors
- The National Directorate and Staff
- Regional Offices
- Chapters and affiliated Members
- Individual or General Members
The National Conclave of Groove Phi Groove convenes annually to review and approve major business, including registrations, workshops and seminars, health and wellness exhibitions, and merchandise and/or service vending. The primary business activity of the National Conclave, however, is the Delegate’s Meeting.
To complement its business activities, the National Conclave also provides a variety of social events, including awards luncheons, banquets, reunion receptions, step shows, dances, pool side socials, boat cruise dances, barbecues, and cultural festivals.
The National Directorate Staff, along with the support of the local host chapter(s) and/or region, serve as facilitators at National Conclaves, which are held at full-service, five-star hotels.
Most Conclaves are held jointly with the National Office of Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc., which is the sister organization of Groove Phi Groove.
The National Directorate is responsible for the organization’s day-to-day operations of the National Office and is under the supervision of the Executive Board of Directors.
